Added both the official trailer and a gameplay clip to add to the Nascar Unleashed page. There are clips from the PS3 and (mostly) the 360 versions, but the Wii was the target platform for this title so I feel it fairly represents both audio and gameplay pretty well to show a clip from the Wii version.
You can hear just about all aspects of what I did, everything from front end stuff to impacts, engines, and the announcer. It's weird hearing him say lines in a completely different voice and character than was intended. I wonder if I can post some
Well, at least I have it's page up now. It takes some time to put them together ya' know? Rather, they aren't that much work but it takes up enough of my time which I have very little of. Notice a recurring theme? I've still got Jaws, Jillian Michaels, and more to write up. Then maybe I'll just be "behind".
For the first part of this year I was an active freelancer and only now are some of these projects coming to light. I was contracted by Firebrand Games to create and help implement the sound design for their latest and greatest racer, Nascar Unleashed. Had a great time creating all brand new crashes, impacts and obstacle smashing sounds for this arcade style Nascar branded racer (not to mention the every tricky car engine sound).
